Bowhunting Michigan Under Attack

It seems everywhere you go today bowhunting is under attack just like gun hunting is.

Michigan the DNR has final say on gun and bowhunting regulations. In the Clinton Township the supervisors have determined that bow hunting is no longer wanted within the municipality's boundaries. Gun hunting was made illegal in 1974.

A few bowhunters have continued to hunt within the 28-square-mile township on mainly private property and now the supervisors want to stop that. What a crock! Thank god someone at the DNR has a brain. Currently the DNR has declined the attempted ban. An official at the DNR says bowhunting poses not public safety issues and that their decision is final. The township supervisors vow to appeal the decision.
